About the role

As Calvary transforms to become the health, community, and aged care provider of choice, we are reshaping our Digital Health & Technology model to drive innovation and business value through Hybrid Project and Product Management practices.

We are looking for a National Enterprise Architecture Manager to lead our architectural strategy across hospitals, aged care, and community services. In this senior leadership role, you will define enterprise-wide standards for system design, integration, and interoperability—ensuring a seamless, secure, and future-ready digital experience.

This role works closely with teams across Salesforce Platform, Cloud Services, M365, Integration, Infrastructure, Security and others to develop and maintain a clear architectural vision aligned to business objectives and future capability needs.

Though not a people manager, this role plays a key leadership role in providing architectural direction to teams and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

Your main duties will include:

  • Define and maintain enterprise-wide architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps aligned with Calvary’s digital strategy and operational goals.
  • Lead governance processes to ensure alignment with business objectives, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with platform and IT teams to review solution designs for security, scalability, interoperability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to guide future-state planning and architectural decisions.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to translate strategic priorities into practical architectural solutions.
  • Uplift architectural practices and tooling, promoting reuse, simplification, and standardisation across systems.
  • Foster architectural thinking through knowledge sharing, education, and cross-team alignment.
  • Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies for performance, compliance, privacy, and security.

About you

Essential
  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and integration across complex environments, preferably in large-scale or multi-site organisations.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and delivering architectural strategies that align with business objectives and enable digital transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to executive, clinical, and technical audiences.
  • Deep understanding of architectural governance, interoperability, security, and performance considerations across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in agile delivery environments and contribute to product and platform planning cycles.
  • TOGAF certified (or equivalent formal architecture framework certification).
  • Proficient in architecture and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, and Microsoft 365.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to evaluating complex technical and business challenges.

Desirable

  • Certification in AWS cloud architecture and Azure Entra Identity.
  • Experience in the health, aged care, or community services sector, with an understanding of clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.
