About the role
- Supports the Chef and peers in delivering a high-quality catering service within the home.
- Will ensure a supportive environment where residents are encouraged to express their food preferences and choice, whilst ensuring that food is nutritious and prepared in alignment with appropriate standards.
Your main duties will include:
- Support service delivery under the direction of the Chef.
- Prepare daily meals and beverages that meet individual needs of the resident.
- Ensure environmental service standards are met.
About you
- Food Safety practices certificate
- Minimum of 12 months experience in similar role in residential care, health care or hospitality sectors.
- Effective interpersonal communication, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate ability to priorities workloads
- Working knowledge of WH&S and infection control
