About the role
As a Support Worker - catering, your role will be to assist a diverse range of Aged Care Residents by assisting the cook meet their nutritional needs.
- Located in Waratah, close to train and bus transport.
- Newcastle is a thriving town with some of the worlds best beaches close by.
- St Martin De Porres provides care and services to 41 Older people
Key Responsibilities
- General kitchen hand duties apply
- Support the cook with meal service
- ensuring a clean environment and work space
About you
- Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
