About the role
 
Are you a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist seeking an exciting opportunity to work in a renown hospital setting?  Calvary North Adelaide Hospital (CNAH) is currently looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated casual physiotherapists to join our dedicate team.  These roles involve working across all ward areas ICU, medical, Surgical and palliative care, providing evidence-based care to patients in need.
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Conduct thorough and evidence-based assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to optimise patients' mobility, strength and overall function.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
  • Facilitate early mobilisation and rehabilitation interventions in the ICU and post-surgical wards.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on safe and effective exercises, techniques and strategies to continue recovery and self-management.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, interventions and patient progress.
About you
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a physiotherapist.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an acute hospital environment, with exposure to ICU, Medical/oncology and surgical wards.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in physiotherapy assessment, treatments and rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with patients, families and health care professionals.
  • Organisational skills to manage a diverse caseload, prioritise tasks and deliver care in a fast-paced setting.
