About the role
Chiara Respite Cottage is nestled in the serene locale of Lakelands, NSW, where we offer a haven for both day and overnight respite accommodation for low level care, short-term clients. At Chiara, we believe in fostering holistic wellbeing, addressing the physical, mental, spiritual, and nutritional needs of our guests. Our hallmark is our leisure and lifestyle program designed to cater to individual preferences and requirements.
As a Support Worker your role will be:
- Assisting clients attending the cottage for day and overnight respite with activities of daily living
- Personal Care
- Meal Preparation
- Transporting clients
- Medication Administration
- Domestic Assistance
- Admin Tasks as required
About you
- A Certificate III in Aged Care, or Home and Community Care
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence, smart mobile phone
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team
- Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phone and email
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
