About the role:

An opportunity exists for enthusiastic and suitably qualified Registered and Enrolled nurses. The position is working in St. Teresa’s Unit supporting patients with general palliative and neuro-palliative care needs, predominantly undertaking Day shifts.

Essential Qualifications:

• Registered with Australian Heath Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum 12 months clinical experience in an inpatient setting

• Competency in clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision along a continuum of care.

• A commitment to their own learning and quality improvement
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and professionalism
• The ability to coordinate client care
• The ability to identify and respond to the changing needs of individuals with a PND & Palliative diagnosis
• The ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
