About the role:
An opportunity exists for enthusiastic and suitably qualified Registered and Enrolled nurses. The position is working in St. Teresa’s Unit supporting patients with general palliative and neuro-palliative care needs, predominantly undertaking Day shifts.
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered with Australian Heath Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 12 months clinical experience in an inpatient setting
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- A patient and family-centred approach to care delivery.
- Competency in clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision along a continuum of care.
- A strong commitment to customer service and risk management
- A commitment to their own learning and quality improvement
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and professionalism
- The ability to coordinate client care
- The ability to identify and respond to the changing needs of individuals with a PND & Palliative diagnosis
- The ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
