Calvary Health Care Bethlehem (CHCB) is a publicly funded sub-acute specialist health service encompassing a 32 bed inpatient unit, centre based clinics, research, day centre, NDIS, and community palliative care service. CHCB is located and part of the Calvary Kooyong Integrated Precinct in Caulfield South in Melbourne. The integrated precinct brings together premium retirement living in the Hyson Apartments, contemporary residential care in the Huntly Suites, Calvary in-home care, a GP clinic, and Calvary Bethlehem’s specialist sub-acute health services.

 
About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail orientated experienced Administrative Assistant to support both the Quality & Safe Systems and Learning and Development Teams.

You will play a key role in supporting the coordination, record keeping, and data management of both of these departments

Duties will include:

Quality and Safety:

  • Support the Director of Clinical Services & Quality Systems to maintain the elements of the Quality Management System and Document Management Systems
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of ACHS (Australian Council on HealthCare Standards) Short Notice Assessment program
  • Assists with internal Audits of CHCB systems and processes including against Work Instructions and Quick Start Guides

Learning and Development:

  • Facilitates and co-ordinates activities for New starter orientation for Employees and Undergraduate & Graduate Programs
  • Support Educators / Trainers and Managers organizing training with the planning (coordinate the bookings), meeting the training requirements (seating and audio visual equipment) and record keeping of sessions
  • Maintain and improve record keeping systems and databases
  • E-learning administrator
 
About you:
  • Well developed presentation and customer service skills with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Substantive administrative experience across
  • Well developed organisation skills in both document control and record management
  • A strong work ethic, self motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team
