About the Role
Join Calvary Riverina Hospital as an After-Hours Nurse Manager, where you’ll provide operational leadership during evening and night shifts. This vital role ensures safe, high-quality patient care and supports the hospital’s business objectives. You’ll work closely with the Executive team, respond to incidents and emergencies promptly, and foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Calvary’s values.
As per EA- NUM Level 2 $69.02 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage unplanned staff leave and ensure adequate coverage
- Coordinate patient flow after hours
- Liaise with VMOs and external facilities for admissions
- Lead emergency responses after hours
- Address and escalate patient and family concerns
About You:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Post-graduate experience in clinical nursing within public or private health
- Proven management experience at department or facility level
- Strong understanding of quality improvement and accreditation standards
- Skilled in change management and fostering positive workplace culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
