We are seeking an experienced Dietitian Grade 3 with strong leadership and a passion in progressive neurological diseases and palliative care to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem.

About the role:
You will join our established Dietetics team which provides clinical services to a 32 bed inpatient ward and State-wide Progressive Neurological Disorders Service (SPNDS) outpatient clinic.
As a Grade 3 Dietitian you will provide clinical leadership and support to the team whilst also providing high quality clinical care and a patient focussed approach to service provision. The role also involves participation in departmental quality activities and education provision. Supervision and peer supervision is provided and opportunities for professional development.
What you bring:
- Minimum 5-7 years of clinical experience, including in the hospital setting.
- Experience in enteral nutrition and HEN program is essential.
- Management in gastrostomy care is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership essential.
- Specialist experience in a clinical area is desirable (experience in progressive neurological diseases, palliative care and oncology desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to undertake professional supervision and promote professional competence of other team members.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills that promote teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA) and the APD program.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification or working towards is desirable.
