About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.

Calvary St Vincent’s Hospital is seeking motivated and team-focused Registered Nurses to join our Perioperative Services team in Launceston. Opportunities may be available across Theatre, Recovery, Day Surgery, Endoscopy and Cath Lab services.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment committed to delivering high-quality patient care while supporting professional development and service innovation.

Positions may be offered on a Full Time, Part Time or Casual basis, with rotating shifts and on-call requirements applicable depending on the clinical area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care

  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team

  • Support patient safety, quality improvement and compliance activities

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communication

  • Contribute positively to team culture and patient experience

What you bring

  • Current AHPRA Registration

  • Recent acute care and/or hospital experience

  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care
