About the role
 
Calvary Hospital Riverina have an exciting opportunity for a Level 1 Nurse Unit Manager to join the perioperative team at the Main Theatres. The main theatres consist of 5 operating theatres, a 9 bay recovery unit and an onsite CSSD. This position will be full time Monday - Friday with rotating shifts. Part time hours would be considered. 
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Leading and managing the operating department 
  • Pay roll, maintaining KPI's and administration duties
  • Adhering to and promoting national, perioperative and infection control standards
About you
  • Current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration
  • Strong perioperative knowledge and experience
  • Management and/or Leadership experience
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Post graduate qualifications in perioperative nursing (desired)
