Calvary Launceston is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Hospitality Services Manager to lead and elevate our non-clinical service delivery, ensuring an exceptional experience for patients, visitors, and staff.
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Hospitality Services Manager is responsible for the leadership, coordination and continual improvement of hospitality and support services across the hospital. This includes food services and environmental services across the two Launceston campuses- Calvary St Luke’s & St Vincent’s.
This is a key leadership role focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centred services that contribute to overall clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
About You
You are a results-driven and values-led leader with:
- Demonstrated experience in hospitality, hotel services, or support services leadership (healthcare experience highly regarded)
- A strong focus on customer/patient experience and service quality
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, foster accountability, and drive performance
- Experience in service innovation, process improvement, and change management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across clinical and non-clinical areas
- A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high-quality hospitality services across the organisation
- Drive service innovation and improvement aligned to organisational strategy
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Manage budgets, resources, and workforce planning effectively
- Build a high-performing, engaged team culture
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to enhance the overall patient experience
