About the Role

This role is responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Business applications systems, for testing ERP/ Applications layout to ensure the systems are meeting business needs, and for customizing and configuring workflow to facilitate ERP / Applications integration with other applications. 

Key Responsibility:

  • Design and develop high quality code to support business change requirements to applications, interfaces, and integration.
  • Ensure all development is version and configuration controlled.
  • Ensure all development has comprehensive test plans and that test plans are conducted, results documented, and bugs corrected.
  • Review, analyze, and modify the programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging • Ensure that software can be completely integrated into other business applications.
  • Design new modules to improve system efficiency.
  • Test ERP / application layout to ensure the systems are meeting business needs.
  • Customize and configure workflow to facilitate business application Systems integration with other business applications.
  • Organize, coordinate, and deliver training for users in their core areas
  • Application and interface development:
  • Design and develop high quality code to support business change requirements to applications, interfaces, and integration.

Key Selection Criteria

At least 5 years application development, application integration, web services and support across a variety of application systems across one or more of the following stacks:

  • Finance: Technology One, Concur, Basware, PeoplePoint, Board etc
  • HR: Workday, Aurion, UKG, PageUp etc
  • Operations: Chintaro, IRIS, iCare etc
  • Others: SharePoint, LiveOps, SmartSheet etc
  • Strong technical capabilities and understanding of database tables
  • Strong understanding of integration and API’s
  • Working knowledge and experience in the following methodologies: ITIL, PMI, SDLC, Agile, RAD, CMMI
  • Working knowledge and experience in the following technologies: .NET, Java, SQL, C#, PHP, Python, JavaScript
  • Support experience of cloud-based SaaS applications
  • Well-developed coding skills following sound coding practices and standards
  • Highly developed administration skills including good attention to detail
  • Proven record of managing multiple competing priorities
  • Goal and action orientated with a proven ability to deliver within specified timeframes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to form positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage the priority of many concurrent tasks
  • Proven ability to document work and maintain records
  • Strong sense of customer service and commitment to quality service

 

Essential:

  • Tertiary degree in the field of information technology, computer science, business, or similar discipline
  • 5 years’ experience as a software developer, application integration, application support
  • ITIL, PMI, SDLC, Agile, RAD, CMMI certifications
  • Application Specific Certifications
