About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Baptcare as our Hospitality Manager. The role is mainly responsible for optimising the consumer experience in relation to the Baptcare Hospitality Residential offering in Aged Care and Retirement Living.
The Hospitality Manager oversees the business functions, and all staff associated with quality outcomes in catering, cleaning, laundry, and hospitality style service offerings at the Baptcare’s residential facilities.
You will also be responsible for:
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships both internally with key stakeholders and externally between Baptcare and approved contractors, ensuring agreed contract terms and tender specifications are applied and the delivery to the customer is of a high quality.
- Efficiently manage catering, cleaning and laundry services to ensure the delivery of consistent quality service to residents that meets their requirements
- Ensure that the Baptcare Living Well Essentials package and other packaged style services are supported by adequate pricing, program delivery and clear collateral.
- Manage and measure financial budgets and ensure the services or goods delivered reflect agreed budgets and report accordingly.
- Perform other duties as required by General Manager Service and Operations consistent with the broad emphasis of the position.

- Actively maintains professional skills and is up to date in current practices in aged care and hospitality related services applicable to the role
About You
As the suitable candidate for this position, you will hold prior relevant and recent experience as Hospitality Manager or senior management role in hospitality business.
In addition, you will also bring:
- Demonstrated senior management experience which relates to residential care or a hotel service style operation
- Well-developed knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Act, Victorian Food Act 1984 and the Food Act 2003 (TAS) and the Accreditation Standards and relevant legislation
- Food Safety Supervisor Health Competency Qualifications
- Relevant Industry Training – Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
- Commercial cookery certificate III / IV '
- Current Certificate for Food safety supervision skill set HLTSS00061- for community services and health industries including HLTFSE001, HLTFSE005 and HLTFSE007
