Baptcare is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Family Services Practitioner to join our Community Services team in Moonah. If you have a genuine desire to empower families and contribute to positive change in your local community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Family Services Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support and guidance to families facing various challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify family strengths, needs, and areas for growth.
2. Developing and implementing personalized case plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and strategies to promote family well-being and resilience.
3. Facilitating educational workshops and group sessions on topics such as parenting skills, conflict resolution, financial literacy, and life skills.
4. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including social workers, counselors, and community partners, to ensure comprehensive support for families.
5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
To excel in this role, you should possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Experience working with diverse family structures and a deep understanding of family dynamics are essential. Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach are vital to building trust and rapport with families.
