THE ROLE
As Head Chef at Karana Community, you won’t just run a kitchen—you’ll own it. This is your chance to create food that truly matters, leading a close-knit team while making a real difference in people’s day.
- Create fresh, seasonal menus residents get excited about

ABOUT YOU
You don’t need aged care experience to succeed here — you need the right skills and the right values.
- Qualified Chef (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior Sous Chef in a quality, fast-paced kitchen
- Strong leadership presence and the ability to develop your team
- Well-organised, cost-conscious, and solutions-focused under pressure
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to undergo a National Police Check
