About our Business
Since our humble thrift shop beginnings, we’ve come a long way in the secondhand space. We’ve grown from a single shop to a global reuse champion. Every day at Savers, we proudly embrace our purpose to Champion Reuse. Creative, meaningful, dynamic, and fun–we’re a big little company that makes an impact in real ways, every day. How we do it, and the people that we do it with, matters a great deal.

About the Role
Reporting to the People Services Business Partner, the part-time People Systems Administrator is responsible for providing administration support across our key HR systems, UKGReady and PageUp. You will also work closely with the Payroll Manager to assist in ensuring accurate, timely, end-to-end payroll processing.

A typical day might include:

  • Providing support as the first point of contact for managers, team members and candidates for people systems related queries, escalating where necessary
  • Administering employment contracts, variations and maintain all associated documentation within the employee lifecycle and employee file
  • Tracking and monitoring completion of HR activities, such as recruitment, onboarding and employee changes (e.g. variations)
  • Employment and Masterfile validation control checks
  • Timesheet and exception auditing and follow-up
  • Maintaining cross system data consistency with expert attention to detail
  • Contributing to a team brainstorming session
  • Grabbing a coffee with the support office team – we are on Sydney Road in Brunswick, so we are spoiled for choice!

This is a part-time role working 25 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

About You

To ensure you can hit the ground running, you will have a mix of the following:

  • Ability to work across multiple systems – we have a network of systems, and you are comfortable across different SaaS solutions. UKGReady and PageUp are our main ones, so experience with them would be highly regarded
  • Technically minded and process driven – you can follow process documents
  • Strong time management skills – we often deal with conflicting priorities, so you need to be a master ball juggler, prioritising and managing your time like a pro
  • Solution focused – you are a born problem solver, always looking to find the right solution to ensure an accurate and timely payroll
  • Customer focused – we make service count, so you will need to be passionate about providing timely and expert advice
  • Do the right thing – you are passionate about standing up for what’s right and doing what you say you will
  • Eager to learn – you are always looking to find a better way, adapt and improve
  • Impact driven – you want to make an impact on your team and your community

We are a team of thrifters, always searching for the unique and one-of-a-kinds. If you are looking for a fulfilling place to work, with opportunities to grow, we want to meet you! Apply now!
