About the role

selectability is seeking a Acting Team Leader for leave coverage from 12/05/2025 to 30/05/2025 for our Support Coordination team in Townsville. As a Team Leader you will oversee the delivery of programs and services supporting the mental wellbeing of our consumers. You will utilise your knowledge and experience to mentor your team, ensuring excellence in customer service and further growing our business.

Main duties

The Team Leader – Support Coordination key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in the intake process for new consumers
  • Oversee referrals for new NDIS consumers
  • Lead the development of individual service agreements
  • Oversee the delivery of programs and services (including monthly reporting)
  • Mentor and coach your team in best practice
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards

About you

  • A passion for mental health across regional Queensland 
  • An in-depth knowledge of NDIS guidelines and processes
  • Relevant qualifications in mental health 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams (highly desirable)
  • Experience in business development (highly desirable)
  • A commitment to best practice 
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment 
  • A Positive Notice Working with Children (Blue Card) 
  • NDIS Worker screen clearance, or Yellow Card Exemption 
  • A current drivers licence (minimum P1)
  • Roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Most importantly… a positive attitude
