The opportunity
Reporting to the Lead Business Services, The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and office management support to the Perth office and provide back-up support to the reception function.
This is a permanent full-time role based at our West Perth office, conveniently located near the City West train station.
Key responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls and assisting with general enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and distribution of post
- Ordering, monitoring, and distributing stationery and office supplies
- Ordering and distributing groceries, kitchen consumables, milk, fruit, and related office supplies
- Coordinating and receipting PPE, and mobilisation requirements
- Booking couriers and freight
- Raising and receipting purchase orders for corporate office requirements
- Assisting with monthly and ad-hoc procurement and administration processes
- Ensuring meeting rooms are clean, presentable, and fully stocked for meetings and visitors
- Coordinating catering for meetings, training sessions, and corporate events
- Providing administrative support including filing, scanning, archiving, formatting, printing, binding, copying, presentations, and business card orders
- Maintaining storage areas, and shared office facilities in an organised manner
- Building positive working relationships with internal staff, suppliers, and visitors
- Assisting with overflow of travel bookings as required
- Supporting overflow requirements for office facilities including parking and building maintenance
About you
- Previous experience in a busy administration, office support, or receptionist role
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and friendly approach with strong customer service focus
- Experience using Pronto accounting software desirable
