What you’ll love

This is brand new role, and will be critical to the success in establishing Remondis in the Townsville region.  

We are looking for an experienced sales and business development specialist, who is comfortable operating from a standing start, building networks and contacts as you go, whilst playing an integral role in the development of our Townsville site.

Primarily, you’ll develop a pipeline of new business, working across a diverse range of potential customers and industries. You will be comfortable with establishing and investing in  key contacts across industry associations, community networks, councils and excited to be the face of REMONDIS in Townsville.

 Who you are

  • You’re a sales / business development specialist, with a successful track record in winning new business and managing accounts, ideally within the waste management, logistics, transport, mining or similar industry
  • You are a Townsville local, who has strong networks across the region or able to develop key networks across industrial associations, councils, etc
  • You're a driven, self-starter, keen for growth opportunities
  • You’re a strong communicator, able to engage with and deal with people at all levels, listening, hearing and understanding customer needs
  • You’re proficient in the use of a CRM and MS Office
