Opportunity for an experienced Retail Assistant Store Manager to join us and support a team as we embark with an exciting make-up/fragrance store at Cairns Airport.

This is a fast paced, varied, and hands-on role with a strong focus on customer service and people management. Retail Supervisory and/or Management experience in Make Up, Skin Care or Fragrance is highly desirable.

We’re looking for an experienced 2IC who will:

• Manage the day-to-day store operations alongside & in the absence of the Store Manager
• Provide a high standard of customer service
• Lead from the front and ensure all team members are motivated and perform tasks according to standards and procedures
• Support in the administration of rosters and timecards
• Be a true brand ambassador & foster a collaborative team environment; encourage a high-performance culture
• Provide effective training to staff in the areas of customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and merchandising

We seek a motivated individual who supports our customer-centric values, where the full energy and activity of the store team is focused on delivering a highly satisfying world class customer experience. Experience in apparel or travel retail will be highly regarded, but not essential.

As we're located in a dynamic airport environment, we operate outside typical business hours. We are looking for someone who is reasonably flexible with availability as trading hours will fall outside normal business hours.
