Our Aelia Duty Free store, provides our customers with a wide range of Duty Free products and we are looking for someone that has a genuine interest in helping customers shop for all their travel needs!

The role:

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic people who love being in service and connecting with people to join our team in a full-time roles as PRC (People's Republic of China) Retail Specialists.  Please note that the ability to speak Mandarin for this role is essential

In this unique role, you will be expected to:

• Achieve sales and margins, selling high quality products
• Actively seeking new tour groups, build and maintain relationships with customers to increase sales and brand awareness
• Market and promote the business effectively by working with our Commercial, Marketing, Operations and Partnerships teams

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• A minimum of 2 years’ proven and successful experience dealing with travel agents, hotels, consulates, providores and tour groups
• Experience in coordinating and running marketing activities in the tour group market
• Ability to communicate fluently, both verbal and written, in Mandarin & English is essential
• Expert experience using Chinese social media
• Strong interpersonal, persuasive selling and negotiation skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Good business sense with a sound understanding of the tour group market dynamics
• Exposure to international brands and retail operations
