We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to join our Icons store team in a Casual Cafe Team Member role at Cairns Airport. 

Showcasing the best gourmet gifts and tastes from Far North Queensland, our Icons store provides a smorgasbord of local gourmet food, wine, beer, spirits, and speciality coffee, complemented with lights meals, snacks and gourmet gift ideas. This is the perfect space for travellers to unwind and relax before their flight.

Your role would include:

• Taking orders from customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Support team in general cafe duties such as light food preparation, service, and cleaning
• Ensure all food safety policy and procedure is adhered to

You’ll have: 

• Café or hospitality experience will be highly regarded but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service
• Excellent personal presentation and a professional approach
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment, working together to achieve goals
• RSA beneficial but not essential 

Located in a busy airport environment we operate 7 days a week and hours that meet the needs of our customers. We are looking for a team member with reasonable flexibility to work a rotating roster including some weekends and early or late shifts.
