Lagardère AWPL is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our Finance team based in Sydney.

About the Role:

You will be focused on payroll projects as well as supporting the Payroll Manager with daily tasks for our Australian and New Zealand operations.

Your duties will include:
- Payroll projects & supporting the Payroll Manager with processing when required
- Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
- Preparing and reconciling payroll-related reports and statutory returns
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll queries and issues
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency

Your Profile:
- Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and regulations
- Proficiency in payroll software systems, UKG T&A and Affinity payroll system is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong excel skills
