We are on the hunt for a passionate and enthusiastic hospitality leader to join our team as our new Cafe Venue Manager for our brand-new espresso bar concept in the Brisbane Airport Domestic Terminal.

In this role you will take ownership of the daily management, working closely with our Brisbane F&B Manager, our Sydney based Operations team and our Brand Partner Bellissimo Coffee.

Working on the ground you will lead from the front ensuring that our team is engaged, supported and trained to the highest standard, to provide unparalleled customer service. You will ensure clear communication to ensure the day-to-day operational activities run smoothly.

In this role you will:

  • Lead from the front with a hands-on approach
  • Ensure the team is trained effectively across customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and merchandising
  • Manage rosters (Airport location with extended trading hours)
  • Support ranging and inventory ordering activities
  • Ensure site is clean and well maintained at all times
  • Ensure food safety protocols are championed and maintained
  • Create and maintain the highest level of coffee quality and execution within the store 

We’re looking for someone with experience running the day-to-day activities across a sizeable venue with kitchen, with strong leadership qualities and commercial acumen.

Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

  • Proven experience leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Proven management experience within a fast paced, coffee focused venue
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with rostering, inventory management, wastage, food safety
  • Proactive approach and previous experience achieving KPI's and targets
  • Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster including early starts and late finishes
