Lagardère AWPL is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our payroll team based in Sydney.

About the Role:

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the seamless operation of our payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. With your exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and reporting, as well as supporting the Payroll Manager with daily tasks for our Australian and New Zealand operations.

Other duties include:

• Maintaining Master data, pay records and files.
• Managing the month end and year end process and prepare and distribute payment summaries.
• Controlling the payment and reconciliation of payroll, payroll tax, group tax, PAYG, PAYE, Kiwisaver, work cover premiums, insurance and authorised payroll deductions and other payroll related payments.
• Calculate and remit Superannuation Guarantee Contribution and Salary Sacrifice payments.
• Maintain and utilisation of our systems including Affinity and our Time Attendance system, UKG.

Your Profile:
- Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and regulations
- Proficiency in payroll software systems, UKG and Affinity payroll system is desirable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong excel skills
