We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced customer service/retail team member to join our friendly retail team at our Merino Collection & The Cairns Store in Carns Airport in a Casual role! 

Our Merino Collection store is looking for Japanese & Mandarin speakers. We offer our customers a wide range of luxuriously soft and stylish garments and accessories of the highest quality, made from merino, possum, alpaca, leather.

Our The Cairns Store is a true destination store offering the best of Tropical North Queensland gift and souvenirs ideas from local artisans. Offering plush toys, children’s & adult apparel, local sporting team apparel, gourmet gifting, and souvenir items, the Cairns Store delivers an authentic experience of the Far North Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef before flying back home.

We are looking for someone comfortable working solo in our store on mostly evening shifts.

You'll bring:

• Experience in customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in multiple languages is an added bonus!
• Genuine interest in providing a unique and exciting shopping experience to our customers
• Exceptional presentation standards
• Maturity, initiative, and a sense of urgency
• Sales experience will be highly regarded but is not necessary if you tick the above requirements- we'll train you!
• Full work rights are a must

To cater to our travellers' needs, our store is open 7 days a week and as such you will need to be flexible and available to work on weekends and shifts outside public transport hours. 

Please note: As public transport can be limited at certain hours of the day you will need your own reliable transport; however, we do provide subsidised parking.
