We are looking for a motivated Head Barista / Assistant Café Manager in a full-time permanent role to support and nurture the team of our Espresso Bar in partnership with local coffee roaster Bellissimo Coffee at Brisbane Domestic Airport!

This is an early morning position with 4am starts.

We're looking for:

• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or café setting in a similar role
• Ability to handle large volume quality coffee production
• A strong understanding of grinder adjustments, dosing & distribution, and brew ratios
• Skilled in milk texturing and latte art
• A sense of accountability & taking ownership of this new role
• Experience educating, training and managing staff on coffee programs, systems and procedures
• Sound food safety/compliance knowledge
• Current RSA
• Strong work ethic
• Confident communication style & a professional approach
• Maturity, initiative, & a sense of urgency

As we are located in a dynamic airport environment, our stores operate 7 days a week. We are looking for a new Head Barista who is reasonably flexible with availability to be able to provide support to our hospitality operations.
