The Role:

We are seeking a talented FP&A Senior Business Analyst to join our Sydney Support Office on a fixed term 12-month parental leave contract. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of Asia Pacific’s largest travel retailer!

As the FP&A Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic decision-making within our Finance department. Your strong analytical skills and expertise in financial planning and analysis will be instrumental in providing insights and recommendations to support the company's growth objectives.

What You’ll Do:
✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budget analyses.
✅ Conduct in-depth variance analyses, identifying trends and opportunities for cost optimization.
✅ Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
✅ Support the financial planning and analysis process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
✅ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:
🎓 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
📊 Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or a similar role
🧠 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
🗣️ Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex financial information clearly
💻 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
📚 Experience in the retail industry or a related field is highly desirable
