The Role
We are seeking a L2 Infrastructure and Security Support Engineer to join our IT team. As an L2 support specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and security systems.
What You Will Do
Technical Support 💻 Provide technical support for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems
Troubleshooting 🔧Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, escalating to L3 support when necessary
Asset Management 📈 Manage IT assets, software licenses, and compliance requirements
Collaboration 🤝 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and resolve technical issues
Timely Support ⏰ Ensure timely and accurate support for internal stakeholders and external partners
Documentation 📚 Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
ITSM Principles 📊 Support IT service management (ITSM) principles and best practices
Staying Current 📈 Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies
Requirements
Experience 💼 some exposure to IT infrastructure and security support
ITSM Knowledge 📚 Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) principles and best practices
ITIL Framework 📈 Experience with ITIL framework and ITSM tools
Microsoft Proficiency 🖥️ Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems, Office suites, and O365
Problem-Solving 🔧 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Time Management ⏰ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Teamwork 🤝 Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Nice To Have
Certifications 📜 Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco)
Cloud Technologies ☁️:Experience with cloud technologies, virtualization, and containerization
Security Frameworks 🔒:Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS)
