Job Summary
Big Sandy Community & Technical College is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform duties such as maintaining landscaping, grounds and cleanliness of campus, assisting with routine building maintenance, and maintaining related landscaping and grounds and maintenance equipment.

Job Duties:
- Maintains grounds to insure the proper time to care for and water plants, reseeds all landscape and grounds as needed, plantings grass, trees, shrubs and flowers as needed.
- Maintains related landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment.
- Mows, weed-eats/edges, and removes snow utilizing mowing machines and other equipment.
- Orders and pick up supplies as needed.
- Performs room set-up for events, assembles and delivers furniture, and moves and/or hauls equipment/furniture as needed.
- Serves as backup for custodial work as needed such as cleaning, disinfecting, floor maintenance, and trash disposal.
- Assists with routine maintenance on campus.
- May have to travel to assist at other campuses as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years related experience.

Additional Skills Requested:
Oil change for lawnmower or weed eater.
