Job Summary
ECTC is seeking a professional math tutor to assist students and lead math workshops.

Job Duties:
• Deliver supplemental assistance in Math and make additional resources available to students. • Provide tutoring services in Math. • Teach developmental strategies and math skill topics for workshops. • Communicate with Math faculty to build rapport and visit classrooms to promote The Hub and tutoring services. • Provide assistance with computer usage, technology, and tools in Math related subjects. • Assist The Hub with campus wide functions. • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (related field), and two years related experience, or an Associate’s Degree and four years experience.

Successful candidates should demonstrate: • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability to work effectively on a team. • Critical thinking skills to assess the skill level and abilities of students and provide appropriate assistance. • Time management skills to be flexible and move between various assignments and duties. • Strong organizational and people skills. • Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Word, MS Access, and MS Excel. • Proficient in developmental math topics through calculus.
