Job Summary

The Records Department of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for an Enrollment Specialist.

Job Duties:

This position will be responsible for
• Outreach and management of retention of students through the student withdraw process.
• Enrollment student support that assists with adding/dropping courses to include; assessment of override needs (prerequisites/permissions), academic calendar, student search tool, and explanation of course selection for all JCTC students in person and electronically.
• Assists with tuition appeal counseling and residency assistance.
• National Student Clearinghouse & NSLDS research: Helps collect and manage social security entry as identified as an issue from NSC & NSLDS (so students can receive aid).
• Support for Metroversity cross registration enrollment.
• Front Office service to students with general inquiries and connection to all enrollment and student services.
• Records Office daily operations, which will include general customer care, supporting team members with functional areas of transfer, graduation and official transcripts & records, scanning of documents, and email activity for the office account and Assistant Vice President & Registrar as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree (related field) and three years related work experience, or equivalent. Ideal candidates have previous customer service and/or PeopleSoft (or similar database) experience.

Bachelor's Degree

Additional Skills Requested:

Computer/technical database experience, customer service background, prior higher education experience.

Physical Requirements:
Occasional and /or light lifting – limited exposure to disagreeable environmental elements (heat, cold, dirt, chemicals, etc.)
