Job Summary

The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Vice President of Advancement and Workforce Development. The position supports the administrative work of the Bluegrass Community and Technical College Foundation and supports overall programming for the Office of Advancement.

Job Duties:

1. Coordinate logistics for foundation board and committee meetings, fundraising events, stewardship events, and college events.
2. Works collaboratively with the Foundation Accountant to ensure reconciliation of gifts and sponsorships are recorded in a timely manner.
3. Record gifts to the college and the BCTC Foundation, process gift transactions, and make deposits into BCTC Foundation accounts.
4. Provide staff support for accounts payable, pro-card purchases, and journals in accordance with provided budgets.
5. Tracks and monitors budget expenditures for Advancement accounts.
6. Supports alumni engagement initiatives and fundraising events.
7. Perform support duties including greeting visitors, answering phones, preparing forms, and filing.
8. Records meeting minutes from various college committees and the BCTCF board meetings.
9. Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Advancement and Workforce Development.
10. Create and maintain confidential donor and prospect files.
11. Prepares correspondence and manage calendars.
12. Provide Administrative support to the President as needed.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or Equivalent 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 2 years experience or Equivalent
