Job Summary

Jefferson Community & Technical College is seeking qualified candidates for the Dual Credit Academic Program Facilitator. The Dual Credit Department facilitates enrollment and onboarding of high school dual credit students generally and with specific programs such as A2C, UPS School to Work, Rotary Bridge and BAMS. This is a team-led, high-functioning, student-focused environment.

Job Duties:

• Responsibilities include the complete enrollment cycle for general and technical education classes.
• Building relationships with designated high school partners in JCPS and supporting the College’s Matriculation Plan in relation to those high school students for transition into full college enrollment.
• Facilitating relationships between the college and secondary education institutions that offer dual credit classes; developing aligned CTE pathways; coordinating efforts and communication with public school systems about Dual Credit courses
• Supporting Dual Credit Office professional development for counselors and orientations for dual credit students
• Supporting specialized programs for dual credit as needed
• Serve as JCTC’s dual credit primary point of contact for assigned high schools in Jefferson County Public Schools providing the highest level of customer service for Dual Credit enrollment and matriculation.
• Collaborate with high school personnel to provide intentional student advising focusing on student post-high school options at JCTC.
• Serve as the main point of contact for visits and events such as Parent Nights and Dual Credit events.
• Through the Dual Enroll platform, coordinate with high school teachers, counselors, and JCTC staff to manage student enrollment in dual credit classes, including the drop/withdraw process.
• Initiate and maintain student records
• Maintain organization of course requests, high school faculty assignments, and course building including the management of enrollment capacity in Peoplesoft.
• Assist with student orientations hosted by the Dual Credit Office, including specialized programs.
• Assist with the KHEAA dual credit scholarship award process, mapping, reconciliation, recalculation of tuition, and billing as needed.
• Assist with the management of the Dual Credit Department shared email account and respond to student, faculty and counselor inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and one-year related experience or equivalent.

• Experience in event planning and/or project management and managing budgets.

Physical Requirements :
