Job Summary
This Institutional Effectiveness Specialist III is responsible for querying, validating, and maintaining institutional data to support decision-making and reporting needs of the system office and colleges. It contributes to the preparation of accurate and timely data for internal stakeholders and external audiences, including state/federal reporting agencies.
Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.
KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.

Job Duties:
Produces data from the KCTCS business intelligence data warehouse through creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data sources to provide accurate and timely information. This includes state/federal reporting (e.g., TEDS, CPE, IPEDS, PDP), performance metric calculations, complex ad hoc data requests, and facilitating the communication of key data.
Supports data validation procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal reporting requirements.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and implements solutions for data and information reporting issues through extensive analysis, logic, innovation, and creativity.
Provides training related to data and information reporting. This includes data dictionaries, creation of training videos, and conducting online/in-person training.
Creates and maintains clear and accurate documentation for all assigned projects, processes, and data sources to support transparency and continuity.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
