Job Summary

Provides instruction in literacy, adult basic education, GED® test preparation, English language acquisition, family literacy, Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education (IELCE), workforce preparation, integrated education and training, including College and Career Pathway Plans, workplace education, and digital literacy. This is a part-time position, mainly working with English as a Second Language students.

Job Duties:

Assessing and monitoring learning using formal assessment data to monitor and document student progress.
Classroom management must maintain knowledge of program guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Actively participate in required professional learning with a growth mindset.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must score within NRS Level 6 on the TABE 13/14 (A) in reading and/or math. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Instructors must be digitally literate and proficient in using digital tools for communication, professional learning, and instruction.
