Job Summary

Jefferson Community and Technical College is seeking an instructor to Administer Test of Adult Basic Education and GED Ready Practice Test assessments and provide instruction in GED content areas at the Adult Education Detention Center at the Carrolton Detention Center.  This position requires teaching two evenings per week.

Job Duties:

• Applicants will provide instruction in Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Social Studies, and Science.
• In addition, students’ registration paperwork and timesheets will be completed and given to the Program director for processing.
• Paid Professional Development is required yearly.
• Applicants must be comfortable teaching multilevel students.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree 

Preferred Qualifications:

Comfortable teaching math.
