Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating clinical education for the EMT program while providing EMT and paramedic instruction throughout SKCTC's service area. Serves as a clinical and laboratory instructor, ensuring student success through classroom, laboratory, clinical, and field-based learning experiences.

Job Duties:
1. Coordinate clinical education activities for the EMT program. 2. Coordinate the assignment of students to clinical and capstone field internship sites. 3. Ensure documentation of student clinical evaluations, competency attainment, and progression. 4. Ensure orientation and ongoing communication regarding program requirements for clinical preceptors, field internship personnel, and others who supervise or instruct students. 5. Provide EMT and paramedic instruction in classroom, laboratory, clinical, and field settings throughout SKCTC's service area. 6. Teach, supervise, and evaluate students in laboratory, clinical, and technical learning environments. 7. Serve as a clinical and laboratory instructor, monitoring student performance and providing feedback regarding student progress. 8. Coordinate technical laboratory experiences and ensure compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and KCTCS safety standards and guidelines. 9. Maintain a safe and effective learning environment that promotes student success and professional development. 10. Monitor training activities and instructional practices to remain current with developments, standards, and best practices in emergency medical services and prehospital care. 11. Participate in student remediation activities and provide additional instruction as needed to support student achievement. 12. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the EMT and Paramedic programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field. • Minimum of six (6) years of related experience.

Additional Skills Requested:
• Current EMT certification and/or other applicable professional healthcare credential(s). • Experience in emergency medicine and/or prehospital care. • Knowledge of instructional methods and adult learning principles. • Experience teaching didactic content, skills instruction, student assessment, and remediation. • Ability to supervise students in clinical, laboratory, and field settings.
