Job Duties

The Director is responsible for helping to develop and implement the Center for African American Public Policy's (CAAmPP) mission and agenda which is to empower minority communities, educate the public at large, and enable lawmakers to enhance the policy-making process on issues involving African Americans and other people of color by means of sound scientific research and civic engagement programs. In addition, CAAmPP develops programming that educates and engages students and the community about political and economic policies that impact the lives of people of color.

Minimum Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred, including management experience
- Strong writing and communication skills and the ability to present quantitative findings are required
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities
- Knowledge of federal, state, and municipal housing programs or land use is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Higher Education and Instruction in Visual Studies
