Job Duties

Indian Creek Correctional Center enhances public safety by providing effective programs, re-entry services, and supervision of sentenced inmates in a humane, cost-efficient manner, consistent with sound correctional principles and constitutional standard

Primary function of this position is gathering documentation and data entry into an automated database for inmate payroll. Secondary function will be other duties assigned by supervisor in accordance with policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Working knowledge of office practices, procedures, and office equipment to include a 10-key calculator. Demonstrated skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel spreadsheets. Demonstrated skill in inputting data into an automated database other than Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping/ accounting practices. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work with numerical data, to make mathematical calculations accurately, and to prepare accurate routine financial reports in an efficient and timely manner. Demonstrate ability to interpret and follow prescribed operating instructions and related policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ability to perform multiple tasks accurately.

Additional Considerations

Advance knowledge in accounting/bookkeeping or equivalent training. Working knowledge of State financial programs including CORIS, Offender Trust and Pay.
