Job Duties
General plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills, along with general knowledge of HVAC systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics. Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC equipment and maintenance methods pertinent to the general building maintenance field. Ability work independently, to plan assigned work, select and gather needed materials, tools and equipment for maximum efficiency and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience at the Journeyman’s level in commercial: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC fields, and universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling. High School diploma for GED. Valid driver’s license.

Additional Considerations
To perform day to day operation for preventive maintenance in the Physical Plan department.
This position is considered essential personnel and would be required to work in the event of an emergency or facility need. All SEVTC positions are required to work different shifts and/or overtime as requested
