About the Position:

The Virginia State Police is seeking to hire an Agency Management Analyst in our Criminal Justice Information Services Division at State Police Headquarters in North Chesterfield, Virginia. The successful candidate will supervise/coordinate daily operations regarding microfilm/microfiche conversion project, name changes, criminal justice background checks, NIST fingerprint card scanning, civil and firearm restoration of rights and pardons; will ensure verification of data entry is conducted during microfiche/microfilm conversion processes; conduct random review of photographs; train staff to use electronic archiving and document management system, Perceptive Content; and will prepare weekly and monthly reports and prepare research and statistical reports.

Minimum Qualifications

•Working knowledge of supervisory principles and practices; of general office practices; and in the operation of scanners and microfilming equipment and basic preventive maintenance of such equipment.
•Skill in operating computers and using Microsoft Office applications.
•Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations; to collect/analyze/verify data; to supervise the work of others and train staff; and to effectively plan, organize, and communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
•Progressively responsible experience in supervision.
•Experience in microfilm procedures and techniques and in using related equipment.
•Experience with data verification and analysis.
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
•Must be VCIN certified which requires either U.S. citizenship or a lawful permanent resident of the United States and eligible for naturalization.
