Job Duties
Assigned to customer service position at the front counter and answering the phones requiring a high level of personal interaction. Also assigned to Court operational responsibilities, i.e. ensures Court’s instructions are executed and legal papers prepared with accuracy and in accordance with appropriate policies and procedures; assist with planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities to coincide with the needs of the Court, other criminal justice agencies, and the public.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities –
The successful candidate will assist customers with filings and questions at the window and on the phone, perform data entry utilizing the Courts Case Management System (JCMS), receipting payments, filing, scanning, processing court documents and any additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Individual must be detailed oriented, highly accurate and excellent at follow-up while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced office. Punctuality, reliable attendance, teamwork, discretion, and integrity while working with highly sensitive and confidential matters, and professionalism are required.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; business courses preferred but not mandatory. Requires knowledge and skills in customer service and general office operations and procedures (i.e. typing, filing, data entry, and receipting payments). Most competitive applicants will have a strong work ethic, organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service skills, ability to manage competing priorities, and experience working in a team environment. Banking experience a plus. A POSITIVE ATTITUDE IS A MUST!
