Job Duties

The Office of Federal Programs is seeking a qualified candidate to assist school divisions in planning and implementing high-quality Title II, Part A, programs and complying with applicable federal program requirements as a means of improving instructional services to students.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in a variety of instructional practices and methodologies for teaching a diverse population of students;
• Experience in planning, implementing, administering, and evaluating instructional programs;
• Experience in implementing programmatic and fiscal requirements of Title II, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended;
• Ability to analyze and define problems and apply problem-solving techniques to complex issues;
• Ability to present complex information effectively to technical and lay audiences in writing and orally; manage multiple assignments with critical deadlines; coordinate in-service activities; and
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Additional Considerations

• Masters Degree in Education and or/Related Field (preferred)
• Graduation from an accredited college or university (preferred)
• Classroom or administrative experience (preferred)
• Division or state-level experience in federal programs administration (preferred)

Special Instructions

The position you are applying for is an Hourly/Wage position. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than an average of 29 hours a week and cannot exceed 1500 hours the wage employment year (5/1 - 4/30). This position does not include health insurance, retirement or paid leave benefits.
