Job Duties

Arlington County General District Court is looking for a dynamic individual that is looking for a position that requires strong multi-tasking abilities, exceptional inner-personal skills, and customer service. Position requires an individual to discuss and explain complicated courtroom procedures and policies to the public through phone or in person. Furthermore, position requires daily interaction with judges, attorneys, and law enforcement personnel. This position (Grade 8) is assigned operational responsibilities in a high-volume office with frequent deadlines. Responsible for assessing fines and costs accurately; accepting and receipting payments; processing and filing court documents; answering phone inquiries; and handling a wide range of complex clerical tasks as well as data entry; alpha/numeric filing. The qualified candidate is committed to interacting with the public, external or internal agencies and divisions in a friendly, courteous, and patient manner.
