Job Duties
DMV is seeking to hire an individual to work as a Titling Technician in the Titling department.
The Titling Technician performs technical and administrative tasks in the Titling Work Center. Responsibilities include processing complex title applications, responding to customer inquiries, manages title paper, decal and plate inventory assignments, reconciles financial transactions and responds to a high-volume titling support from DMV’s internal, external, private and public partners. This role rotates among work center functions, ensuring service consistency and regulatory compliance while maintaining high-quality customer service. By maintaining operational accuracy and efficiency, the technician directly supports DMV’s mission of providing exceptional customer service and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex title transactions, identify discrepancies, and apply sound judgment in resolving issues.
• Excellent reading comprehension to interpret legal documents, such as wills, trusts, and court orders, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry, with a focus on speed and accuracy for processing high volumes of information.
• Exceptional attention to detail to maintain accuracy in title transactions, financial reconciliations, and regulatory documentation.
• Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate DMV-specific software platforms.
Additional Considerations
• Working knowledge of DMV title processes and related regulations.
• Experience in DMV operations or vehicle title processing.
• Experience using DMV systems, including document management and payment processing tools.
• Background Check: Must pass a fingerprint-based background check.
• Licensure: Must possess a valid driver’s license with no less than -6 demerit points and no major convictions.
