Job Duties
The Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia is seeking to hire a Human Resources Information Technology Analyst in our Human Resources (HR) Department in Richmond, Virginia. The successful candidate will provide technical and operational support to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the HR’s business applications by identifying and documenting data quality issues; proposing methods of data corrections and data cleansing; extracting and analyzing data, assisting with data synchronization between the Department of Human Resource Management (DHRM) Cardinal HCM system and the Agency’s PeopleSoft HRIS; and developing data extracts and business reports per stakeholder request.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be highly motivated with analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Duties will include creating and revision of process and procedures for HR systems usage; system testing and documentation of HR system requirements, while working closely with the IT Department that oversees HR’s systems.
Minimum Qualifications
· Considerable knowledge of data analysis, data extraction and related tools and techniques.
· Significant experience with data cleansing, gathering data and information for targeted variables, producing business reports, and data analysis.
· Experience coordinating tasks and projects.
· Detailed oriented with a technical aptitude.
· Experience working on Information Technology (IT) development projects including preparing documenting such as data flows, reporting specifications and supporting user acceptance testing activities.
· Ability to successfully interact in a team environment and effectively communicate both orally and in writing across all levels of the organization.
· Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) skills including query writing ability to produce reports, use of aggregate functions, views, nested queries, and other data manipulation.
· Ability to work under time pressure; to apply self-directed learning style; and to determine how to structure and organize data.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Additional Considerations
· Experience with PeopleSoft, Cardinal, and Oracle is desirable.
