Job Duties:
The Facility Services Department of WWRC is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a part-time lead driver. The driver will operate passenger vehicles such as sedans, SUVs, multi-passenger vans, and 14-passenger buses (NON-CDL). Other duties will include being responsible for the safe transport of all consumers, staff, or other goods/materials; drive in both urban and rural areas of our coverage territory in both daylight and nighttime hours in all weather conditions (driving maybe for short distances and/or all-day trips); oversee the crew and operation of the Transportation Dept in the absence of the Supervisor; responsible for assisting with student schedules pick up and drop offs; supports the Supervisor with answering phones calls about transportation needs; make arrangements for vehicles that need service; completes initial/on-going training and complete mandatory training as specified by the agency, department, and the Department for Human Resources Management.
This role is a wage (part-time) position and will work on average 25-30 hours a week; hours may vary depending on agency needs.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and a driving record is required for this position.

Skills/Abilities:
The individual must have demonstrated skills in safely operating passenger vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, and multi-passenger vans; must be capable of driving for multiple hours on all types of roads and highways, including interstate highways, in all types of weather and lighting conditions; provide staff with detailed information about the environmental conditions at the consumer's home, place of work/training, and other environments encountered during duties; effectively communicate both written and verbal through various forms of communication, including phone, email, and radio; must possess the ability to organize, prioritize, and plan work, as well as demonstrate proficiency using standard office equipment like a fax machine and copier. The individual must demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse customer base, office staff, and agency groups; complete all assigned duties in supporting agency operations; and embrace flexibility in completing any assigned work. The ability to maintain the confidentiality of personally identifiable information and other confidential information about agency consumers and staff is a must, and using computer systems such as Microsoft is also essential.
