Job Duties
The Legal & Legislative Services (LLS) Coordinator is part of the team that provides agencywide legal and legislative support services. The ideal candidate would provide crucial administrative support, coordinate grant-related activities, assist with public meetings, and manage various tracking and scheduling responsibilities.
The successful candidate for this position will:

• Have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to foster positive relationships while working independently and as part of a team;

• Demonstrate respect and competency in interacting with people with diverse knowledge and backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and concisely in writing and spoken word to varying audiences, including executives, policymakers, and other persons of widely varying technical knowledge;
Ability to comply with applicable laws and policies, including confidentiality and information security.
Ability to monitor, coordinate information, and communicate regarding multiple requirements and objectives.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office products especially) and ability to do reliable Internet research.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including good interpersonal skills.
Additional Considerations
Working knowledge of state government, especially the executive and/or legislative branches
